About the Creator

Lane Kiffin is a prominent college football coach who recently left Ole Miss to become head coach at LSU after leading the Rebels to their first 11-win season. Known for his witty, sarcastic social media style, he often posts humorous or ironic content that engages fans. His credibility stems from a successful career, including turning around programs at Ole Miss and attracting top talent via the transfer portal.

What's This About?

The trending post by Lane Kiffin features Trinidad and Tobago flag emojis (🇹🇹), honoring Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss after the Rebels' stunning Sugar Bowl upset over Georgia on January 1, 2026, securing their spot in the College Football Playoff semifinals. Kiffin, now at LSU following a messy departure from Ole Miss under interim coach Pete Golding, followed up with a celebratory tweet: 'a great!!! So fun!! two more to go @OleMissFB.' This post highlights his ongoing support for his former team amid irony from his past tweet advising to 'be where your feet are' during LSU rumors, and contract perks giving him CFP bonuses from Ole Miss' success.

🔥Why It's Trending

The post is trending due to Ole Miss' epic Sugar Bowl victory over Georgia, a major playoff upset that advanced them toward a national championship without Kiffin, sparking massive online buzz. Kiffin's immediate reaction from Baton Rouge, including the flag emoji and excited follow-up, fueled discussions amid his recent Ole Miss exit and LSU move. Timing aligns with New Year's Day bowl season hype and fans joking about his 'loyalty' as Ole Miss nears semifinals against Miami.

Jack Smith’s deposition: “Trump was getting calls from people he trusted. People begging him to act. And he still refused to help the Capitol. That’s not confusion. That’s not delay. That’s evidence of criminal intent.” https://t.co/c2b4VuiFDi

It’s time to stand with the people of Iran who are fighting for their freedom✌🏻 So where is Greta? Where are the flotilla activists? Where are the self-righteous liberals who have spent the past two years condemning Israel on the streets of London, Stockholm, and New York? Where are the loud, ever-present humanitarians and social justice warriors? They are nowhere to be seen. Because the truth is simple: they never cared about human rights. Their outrage was never about freedom, dignity, or universal values. It was selective political theater masquerading as moral conviction. When the cause is not about spreading chaos in the streets, demonizing Israel, or posing with Palestinian scarves, the sense of urgency suddenly disappears. When women in Iran are beaten, imprisoned, and killed by an Islamist regime, there are no marches. No symbols. No moral sermons. This silence exposes the entire project. For these activists, human rights are not universal principles but props in an ideological performance. They show up where it brings status, visibility, and the “right” enemy—and vanish when the struggle demands courage, consistency, and intellectual honesty. Iran exposes them. And the silence speaks volumes.
