Even though Trump has said that he did not attack any oil facilities but Iran had said in advance that Kharg island was a Red Line for them. Expect this war to take a very ugly turn. Iran will most probably attack all oil refineries in the region. At $64 dollars before the war I had said that if the war happens, oil could cross $100 a barrel easily. IT DID. Now I am saying that if Iran attacks major refineries in the region you can see oil surpassing $150 and above. That would be a point of no return for 70% of the global economy. Global economy can come to an absolute standstill. Trump is pushing the world into an abyss.

Kharg handles roughly 90% of Iran's oil exports. It's where Chinese tankers have been loading millions of barrels even while the Strait of Hormuz stays closed to everyone else. Ten tankers took nearly 19 million barrels from Kharg since the war started. So Iran is blocking the world's oil while still exporting its own. And China is the only customer getting through. Trump is now using Kharg as a hostage. Open the Strait or I'll shut down your exports permanently. Iran has a backup plan. It restarted operations at the port of Jask in the Gulf of Oman, bypassing Hormuz entirely. But Jask can't handle the volume that Kharg does.
